What is the best amp for a 12" Alpine Type R? - alpine type-r 12 in box
I have a 12-single "Alpine Type R subwoofer with 4-ohm dual voice coil.
I wonder what is the best amp for this sub-measure how many watts? Find something you are not too expensive.

Hello, I have a similar setup with a Alpine MRP-M450 that 400 Watts RMS @ 2 ohms with my Type R (4-OHM DVC). You can test the new Alpine MRP-M500, which is new for this year and 100 watts RMS, 500W RMS at 2 ohms perfect (for Alpine Type R). Alpine Subs and amps always sound great together, keep the identification with the Alps. MRP-M450 I have delivered my off eBay for $ 100, I think that the MRP-M500 150-175 on eBay. Good luck
